Open Source Revolution

Open Source Hardware

RISC-V: The Open Source CPU

The RISC-V is an open source hardware alternative to Intel and AMD. Originally it was made at the University of California, Berkeley where it was put under a royalty free open source license. This open source CPU is a great thing to see as an alternative to the big tech CPUs with their backdoors to government spying agencies.

Open Source Motherboards

There are a few open source motherboards available out there. They are quite promising when it comes to making even more hardware open source.

Nvidia Open Sourced Their Drivers

Recently Nvidia made some of the code for their drivers open source. This is a big change and could make open source pc gaming much easier in the future.

That's all for now!
