Making The OSR Happen
The best place to start making a change is with yourself. If we are to succeed we must be methodical and organised. For me being organised is difficult but I refuse to let it stop me.
Its easy to follow the habit of just using the same proprietary software that most of us always have but that isn't the right way to go. Change must start even if its just gradual. My Suggestion for making the move to FOSS would be to follow this routine:
- Search for alternatives
- Find ones you like and do some research
- Set up the software/hardware
- Encourage others to do the same The Open Source Revolution starts with you.
